Anticipation of Purpose

"For God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and
are called according to His purpose for them." Romans 8:28

We can't change the past, BUT we can allow the Lord to redeem our past
as we give those areas of our lives over to HIM. God has done that with me, and I
have realized that the Lord has a purpose and a plan for me EACH step of the way
on my journey. I have seen the faithfulness of God time and time again, it SHOULD
cause me to live a life of faith filled anticpation of what the Lord is going to accomplish
Next!

What would our lives look like if we woke up EACH DAY with a heart full of
ANTICIPATION.Anticipating that our lives have a PURPOSE, and that God would
surprise us and speak to us, brings spontaneous childlike JOY! That is the God I serve
who sent His son to die on the cross for MY SINS, to redeem me and use my life for His
purposes.

We all know too well the feeling of anticpation we had as kids waiting for that "Magical
Night" where we were anticipating the presents under the tree were what we had hoped
for. The excitment, the laughter, the JOY of receiving the gifts. THAT is the childlike
anticipation analogy that I believe the Lord asks of His children to have EACH day as
we walk out our faith journey. Anticipating the Lord to speak to us in HIS Word, through
prayer, through people, as we gaze upon His creation. THEN anticpating that God has a
purpose in mind when He speaks to us as we are challenged to step out in faith.

Anticpate that the Lord WILL speak to you today...
-The question is though, are you willing to listen?
-Are you willing to receive and obey?

2 Thessalonians 1:11

"With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you
worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose
of yours and every act prompted by your faith." 2 Thess 1:11

WJOF seeks to fuel the fire within a woman's soul to be all she is created to be
in Christ Jesus. Conferences are a great pick me up, that is for sure! We all need
the reasurance that GOD LOVES US, and that HE has a purpose and a plan for our
lives. Knowing God is crucial step #1 & knowing who we are in Christ is essential to your
success at living a victorious and PURPOSEFUL life!

Towards the end of the day I had everyone read the "WHO AM I?" statements
off the Freedom in Christ bookmarks that were given. www.ficm.org
In Christ is where we can find our true purpose: We are accepted, we are secure,
and we have signficance. If we all lived our lives according to how our creator
sees us, what an impact we would make in this world hungry for answers!

Saskatchewan on PURPOSE!

Saturday November 5th, 2005 will be forever imprinted on my heart.
Over 1100 women gathering together from all across our province (and
beyond!) to grow deeper in their understanding of PURPOSE!

At the end of the day, my 8 yr old daughter Justine sang the SK theme song
"WE ARE MANY"- (with a cute little ole' froggy in her throat!)
and all the women joined in on the chorus to help recognize
the province's 100 year anniversary.

The lyrics to the chorus goes like this:
"We are many, and we are one- lift your voice and sing Saskatchewan.

We are many and we are one- cause we love this place, Saskatchwan!"
www.

It reminded me of some of the last recorded words of Christ Jesus as he prays to
God in John 17: 20-23 asking that .."My prayer for all of them is that they
they will be one, just as you and I are one, Father- that just as you are in
me, and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you
sent me."

A true test of our faith is to be faithful to the words of our Lord in this passage
and to continue to seek UNITY in the body of Christ in our Journey of Faith.
Our city, our province, our country is crying out for a healthy church filled
with TRUTH and LOVE. It starts with our witness and I challenge each believer
in Christ to seek first the Kingdom of God- Putting HIS TRUE purpose of unity
and love forefront on our agenda. The future generations will be blessed if

we are seeking TRUE UNITY along the journey.

May the next 100 years be a blessing as "the church" seeks ways

to live out our TRUE PURPOSE in SK!
