We are called to worship. So often though, we are confused of what that means both inside and outside the church. Is it simply singing? Why so many different ways of expression among churches and denominations? What does it look like to worship Him in "Spirit and in truth" and to "love Him with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength?" Being alive in worship aligns our focus on where it belongs- to the one true God who created the universe and sent His son Jesus Christ to save mankind. It's not just "going to church", it's being the church! Worshiping Him for who He is and being in His presence is the greatest spiritual discipline and spiritual weapon we can engage with and in on our journey of faith.

"...So, in response to this, we want to take time to worship God and speak
praises to His name. That’s not only going to happen through singing, but shout
and pray things out to Him too. Maybe it will start with confession of sin, or a desire to change. Maybe
it will be from a thankful heart. Maybe it will be a time of just stating His
character and thanking Him for it. Whatever it is, we want to seek His face and
glorify Him today. "
