A note from Jodi: Sisterhood is powerful. We were designed for deep relational connectedness, including friendships with other women. We hold great influence don't we? Influence for evil or incredible transformational life giving, eternal goodness. Our generation is hungry for truth and the only thing this side of heaven that brings clarity for purpose, empowerment and radiating beauty from within is found in Christ Jesus. True, the feminist movements throughout the ages brought change for some good on various fronts-but for the most part incredible dysfunction if not centred on the Word of God. Too much emphasis on self and elevating gender spells disaster. At the Cross, we humble ourselves and elevate the name of Jesus Christ where we can have true and meaningful relationships. Not only with God, but with the men in our lives and Yes, even healthy, God fearing, love stirring friendships with women! I am so grateful for the sisterhood of faith in my life! Women who love me for who I am, pray for me and with me and speak truth in love directly to my sister heart when needed. Aren't you tired of the back biting, jealousy fuelled competitive female fatales that permeate our culture where "self" is on the throne? Aren't we aching for a mantle of sisterhood that is countercultural? That is what our ministry (WJOF) seeks to do as we live by faith, walk in love and affirm the call as a ministry to all women. Thankful for studies like TW101 as it clarifies our call and vision of restoration! As we stand together in truth, we can and will be a force to be reckoned with! We have the "commander of heavens armies" on our side. To suit up and fight the good fight, affirming what God says to be true and to aim for that together as a powerful sisterhood destined to be world changers.
- Dear Heavenly Father- May we be women that are full of Your vision, overflowing with hope and purity found in You. Forgive us when we look to ourselves or the world's standards to define ourselves as women. Thank you Lord for your Word! Help our unbelief, apathy, fears or lack of trust in You. Give us the strength to lean towards the vision and call of our FULL restoration empowered by your Spirit! Help us to reclaim our original intent knowing, embracing and living out the purpose to honour you as women. May we surround ourselves with others who support that call and may we have the strength and compassion to pass that legacy of faith onto other women. Give us a passion for mentoring and spiritual mothering so that we can be a part of this beautiful counter revolution of truth and grace in this time of great need.- In Jesus Name we pray- AMEN!"
"You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name." John 15:16 NLT

This gives me a reason to believe I guess. Makes sense? I've been hurt too many times by women 'friends'- it's time to turn the tide and seek out all that you are challenging with us here. Is it even possible? Is it even real? Forgiveness is what I need to seek and start again:) THANKS! I'm looking for that kind of sisterhood I guess?
I attended the WJOF "Wisdom" last weekend and was deeply impacted by Mary's teaching and the overall conference! I agree... sisterhood is powerful and I need to surround myself with women of faith who press in to God's heart for restoration and His divine design. Thanks for posting this study! Where does Mary speak/ teach next?
