"Rescued to spacious places"

If you feel like your journey is not leading you down the road you thought it would, perhaps God is bringing you to a spacious place of destiny even bigger than you imagined! Today Laura-Lynn helps us see past the fear of the present and into the hope of a spacious place in HIM.

God intends our feet to land in a spacious place, in an enlarged territory. We sometimes have faith for one little tiny step at a time and when that's all we've got it's ok, but remember Who He is. He is not a small, powerless God. He is mightier and far greater than our human mind can comprehend! He orchestrates a vast destiny and devises plans that astound even the brilliant. Psalm 147:5 (AMP)
says “Great is our Lord and of great power; His understanding is inexhaustible and boundless”.  Do you believe that about Him?  Because if you do, then according to your faith, be it so to you! If this is true, dare to believe for more. Give Him more of yourself and see what He will do. Pray larger prayers, knowing that He is a God of great exploits, sure to open wide doors that no man can shut. Walk fearlessly with power; boldly knowing that you are anointed to do damage to the enemy's kingdom in Jesus' name.

David declared a prayer that we can also assert in Psalm 31:8, “You have not given me into the hands of the enemy, but have set my feet in a spacious place.” We have all had enemies and people who did not believe in us.  They have said hurtful things to diminish your call, but guess what! There is no man who is in charge of your life.  You are God’s! You are hidden under the shadow of the Almighty One. If we will seek Him, we will find him. Psalm 118:5, “When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place.”

A spacious place is where your destiny will flourish and grow. It is a dwelling of provision and influence that is boundless. This place is given to those whom God delights in. Psalm 18:19 “He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.”  I don’t know about you, but I want God to delight in me.

Sometimes we have to go through some small and squishy places where God crushes some impurities out of us.  During that time, you think you will never come out of it alive.  It’s dark and gloomy and you can’t see what God is doing behind the scenes on your behalf.  But if you will just stay the course, stay in faith, relentlessly pursue God’s vindication and His grace for your situation, you will live to see His redemption in your situation. Many times the difficulties can bring a humility in us enabling God to be able to use us.  And then miraculously, in a season when we submit to a lower place than we had hoped we would be, supernatural occurrences reveal that all along God was creating a spacious place for your destiny to reign that will be far grater than you could have imagined or dreamed.
