Praying in the New Year

Each year at WJOF's fall conference, we intentionally set aside some time to pray for each woman in attendance, our families,
churches, cities, our nation, and the world. As we prepare for 2007-
We encourage you to likewise set aside time to "pray in the new year"!
In Psalm 46:10 it reads: "Be still and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation, I will be honored throughout
the world."
Unless we "get still" before the Lord and
seek His voice, how can we align our hearts and minds with His?
Praying that this scripture will be a focus for you to protect that
quiet time with the Lord as we enter 2007 with hope and expectancy
of what lies ahead on the journey!

Merry Christmas- Joy to the World!

(A Christmas carol to reflect upon your Journey!)
"Joy to the World, the Lord is come, let earth receive her King!
Let every heart, prepare Him room and heaven and nature
sing, and heaven and nature sing, and heaven and heavn and
nature sing!...."
Joy- one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit that is manifested

in our lives as we grow in faith. (Galations 5:22-23)

The dictionary describes Joy as this:"1) great pleasure and happiness
2) a cause of joy 3) Success or satisfaction

the Lord in unity and JOY! In Christ, we have a reason to
celebrate this Christmas season and throughout the year.
We have a true 'cause for Joy' as HE satisfies our every need.

If you are not experiencing JOY at this time- ask yourself-
-Do I know Christ personally? IF not, ask Him into your life today!
-If you are a Christian and are not experiencing Joy- cry out to God
and give the Lord all your burdens and HE WILL take them as you
trust HIM.
- If you know of someone not experiencing JOY this Christmas, what
can you do, say or give to them where you can bring the love and joy
of God. One easy (yet profound) gift to give is simply to write out or
speak scripture into their lives. Nothing is more powerful than the
eternal promises of God to break through one's temporal pain on one's
journey.

JESUS IS THE JOYFUL 'REASON FOR THE SEASON'!

".....He rules the world with truth and grace, and makes the
nations prove. The glory of His righteousness and wonders

of His love, and wonders of His love, and wonders of His love."

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
